Coast Restaurant is located in a former bank building on Oban’s main street, Coast is a contemporary restaurant offering the finest Scottish cuisine.

Husband and wife team Richard and Nicola Fowler bring the very best food and service to Oban. Head Chef Richard’s imaginative cooking uses the day’s catch of local fish and shellfish along with quality meat and other great ingredients from Scotland’s natural larder, while Nicola provides a warm and friendly service.



Recognition of their high standard was gained in June 2007 when Coast received both a silver and small team excellence award from Eat Scotland (a quality assurance scheme run by Visit Scotland). Other award winners included Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles and The Three Chimneys on Skye.

At lunchtime and early evening Coast offers both a Light Menu with a special offer of 3 courses for £12 and their full a la carte menu.
